The company was founded in New Zealand in 2009 as CDS Private Equity Limited with the sole purpose of raising International Equity for its emerging sustainable agricultural programs in Cameroon and Congo, West Africa, targeting the Cocoa, Coffee and Dairy sectors.
In 2013, CDS Private Equity Limited opened Hyperion Global Limited United Kingdom to be closer to Global Equity and Softs Markets.
2014, CDS Private Equity Limited was awarded a Presidential Decree to develop the Cameroon Cocoa and Coffee sectors with the principal goals of improving growers returns and encouraging the youth out of the cities and employed in these sectors
By 2018, CDS Private Equity’s activities were amalgamated into Hyperion Global, retaining its registration and connection with New Zealand and New Zealand’s agriculture practises.
2021 saw the emergence of a new entity Waste to Energy Technology, W2E, that is investing in technologies that utilise, agriculture and municipal solid waste to create low-cost energy solutions for isolated communities in developing countries.
Hyperion Global Limited today has offices in the United Kingdom, Cameroon, and Australia and by combining its investment in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Agriculture, will improve farmers returns through farmer equity partnerships, provide lower cost renewable energy solutions to farming communities and sustainable supply of West African Cocoa and Coffee products, generating Carbon off-takes credits for investors.
